Behind every organization is the team who helps it succeed. Belmonte Builders focuses on recruiting and retaining the best in the business. Meet the folks who are proud to be part of the Belmonte Team.
Peter Belmonte departed his corporate career in management and joined his father with the company in 1985.
Peter is the President of Belmonte Builders. Besides executive management tasks, his role in the company includes: Sales, land acquisition and future community development.
Pete obtained an Engineering Degree from Clarkson University.
Tom DeFilippis is our Construction Manager; he joined our team in 2010 as a Site Supervisor.
Tom brings with him over 20 years of experience from prior construction jobs.
Tom manages all of our sites as well as the Warranty and Home Solutions divisions.
Michele Brown is the Controller at Belmonte Builders; she has been here since 1993 and is responsible for all business functions.
Michele received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Siena College.
The professional organizations that she is involved in include: CRBRA, NAHB, Professional Women in Building and the Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.
Sales & Marketing
Mickey Ricciardi joined Belmonte Builders as the Sales & Marketing Director early in 2013; he has been in the new home construction industry for over 20 years.
In addition to Sales, Mickey is responsible for our Marketing program. He actively seeks better ways to showcase our homes and communities and understands the need for diverse media.
Joe Backowski joined Belmonte Builders in 2013. Joe is one of our Site Supervisors; he oversees the field operations crew and all activities of the sites he manages.
Jennifer Brisbin joined Belmonte Builders in August of 2014. She is our administrative assistant. Jennifer provides support for both the Office staff as well as the Field staff. She also coordinates all warranty claims.
Real Estate Broker
Sharon Byrne has been a broker with Belmonte Builders for 30 years and she has also been an agent with Realty USA for 30 years. She specializes in new construction. Sharon has six children and lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband.
Mike Martiniano joined Belmonte Builders in June of 2015 as one of our Site Supervisors. He has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. Mike oversees the field operations crew and all activity on the sites he manages.
Toni Patnode is our Job Coordinator. She joined the Belmonte team in 2010.
As a Job Coordinator, Toni is the liaison for our customers between all entities. She assists them with getting through the pre-construction and construction process. In addition, she manages the online presence for Belmonte Builders and is one of the voices behind the social media.
Toni obtained her Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems in the Web Design degree program and is an alum member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Rob Rothschild joined Belmonte Builders in sales in the Fall of 2013 for our affordable luxury line of homes at The Mill at Smith Bridge development in Wilton, New York. He has been involved in real estate sales, investment and finance for over 20 years. Rob has a degree in business management from Skidmore College.
John Speanburg has been with Belmonte Builders since 2006. John is our Warranty Manager as well as our Service Call Representative.
Lindsey joined the Belmonte Team in 2013. She is an award-winning kitchen designer and an accomplished Project Coordinator with over a decade of experience. She brings a lifelong passion for her family business along with a strong desire to provide the highest quality service to each customer.
Lindsey has a Bachelor of Fine Arts as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Sage College of Albany.
Doug Godfrey is our Designer and has been with the Belmonte team since 2002.
As the Designer, he provides production drawings, artwork for new homes. In addition, he also participates in sales meetings with customers to provide his design expertise when needed.
Doug obtained his Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from Onondaga Community College.
Ken Madigan joined the Belmonte team in 2013. He is one of our field personnel who can often be found at any one of our construction sites. Ken obtained his Construction Certificate from Hudson Valley Community College.
Barb Wood joined the Belmonte Builders team in 2009. She is the bookkeeper at our Administrative office. Barb attended Hudson Valley Community College.
Barb is an advocate for fundraising for the area’s less fortunate children and is on the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Chamber Angels Board.
Estimating and Purchasing
Mark Beaulac leads our estimating and purchasing department. He has over 30 years of experience in all facets of the construction industry. Mark has been working with Belmonte Builders since 1998.
Kaleb Stores joined Belmonte Builders in 2015. He is one of our field personnel who can often be found at any one of our construction sites.
Marianne Clifford joined the Belmonte Builders team in 2016. She is one of our Project Coordinators.
Marianne is currently a Board Member for the Professional Women in Building. She has a Degree in Interior Design from Sage in Albany and has over 12 years of experience in the building industry.
Estimating and Purchasing
Gene Miller joined our team in early 2014. He is part of our Estimating and Purchasing team. Gene’s formal education is from Three Rivers Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering. His trade experiences include carpentry, stone masonry, and structural engineering.
Chuck Sargent is a master specialty trim carpenter and has been with Belmonte since 2012.
Jim joined our team in 2016. Besides being a Site Supervisor, he is also our Safety Manager.
