Belmonte Builders Opens New Design Center

Belmonte Builders is excited to announce the opening of our NEW Design Center. Our goal in overhauling our original Design Center was to make the selections process easier and more enjoyable for our clients…and we believe we have! Belmonte’s New Design Center works as a one-stop-shop with lots of touches like a working gas fireplace and kitchen to make our clients more comfortable with everything they need as they go through the selections process.

Building a new home is an exciting process, especially being able to pick and choose everything from what type of siding and windows to the flooring, countertops, lighting, paint colors and more for each room. While it is exciting to be able to make these choices, we know it can sometimes be overwhelming. To make this process easier for our clients, we overhauled our Design Center to create a comfortable space that works as a one-stop-shop for our new home buyers.

Our goal was to make the selections process easier and more enjoyable for all involved. That’s why our new Design Center gives our clients access to all of our samples in one convenient location. No more making a separate trip to a supplier to view granite or waiting for samples to be requested. All selections can now be made in-house.

To keep up with current trends, we’ve increased our selections to give clients more options for personalizing their new homes.

  • Our new tile display includes all of our standards as well as a variety of upgrades in an assortment of textures and colors. Whether designing a kitchen backsplash or a tiled shower, we now have tiles, shelving accessories and accents to suit all needs. Our new selections include simulated wood planks, beautiful porcelains with a marble look, subway tiles in a range of sizes, and more.
  • We’ve increased our selections for countertops to include FIVE new standard granite options as well as a variety of upgrades including quartz with a marble look and unique granite patterns in both hone and polished surfaces.

We know that choosing selections is not a quick process and we want our customers to feel at home while making these decisions. We created the Belmonte Design Center to be an inviting and relaxing space filled with a variety of touches to make our customers feel at home.

  • Our fully functional Kitchenette includes a coffee bar and snacks for customers to refuel.
  • Comfy armchairs create the perfect place for our customers to take a break from the selections process and our gas burning fireplace offers warmth on those cold winter days.

Now that it’s September, all eyes are on the Federal Reserve (the Fed). The overwhelming expectation is that they’ll cut the Federal Funds Rate at their upcoming meeting, driven primarily by recent signs that inflation is cooling , and the job market is slowing down . Mark Zandi, Chief Economist at Moody’s Analytics, said : “They’re ready to cut, just as long as we don’t get an inflation surprise between now and September, which we won’t.” But what does this mean for the housing market, and more importantly, for you as a potential homebuyer or seller? Why a Federal Funds Rate Cut Matters The Federal Funds Rate is one of the key factors that influences mortgage rates – things like the economy, geopolitical uncertainty, and more also have an impact. When the Fed cuts the Federal Funds Rate, it signals what’s happening in the broader economy, and mortgage rates tend to respond. While a single rate cut might not lead to a dramatic drop in mortgage rates, it could contribute to the gradual decline that’s already happening. As Mike Fratantoni, Chief Economist at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), points out : “Once the Fed kicks off a rate-cutting cycle, we do expect that mortgage rates will move somewhat lower.” And any upcoming Federal Funds Rate cut likely won’t be a one-time event. Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist at the National Association of Realtors (NAR), says : “Generally, the rate-cutting cycle is not one-and-done. Six to eight rounds of rate cuts all through 2025 look likely.” The Projected Impact on Mortgage Rates Here’s what experts in the industry project for mortgage rates through 2025. One contributing factor to this ongoing gradual decline is the anticipated cuts from the Fed.
