Energy Star Recognizes Belmonte's Commitment to Building Energy Star Qualified New Homes
"By building Energy Star qualified homes, your company is doing its part to help protect the environment while offering consumers new homes that are more comfortable andsave money on utility bills," according to a letter from Energy Star.
"Our records indicate that your company built a total of 34 Energy Qualified Homes in 2010. This is equivalent to:
- Eliminating the emissions from 16.66 vehicles
- Saving 100,776 lbs of coal
- Planting 27.54 acres of trees
- Saving homeowners $15,198 on their utility bills
